Even in health care it appears that crime pays.  Some of the biggest recipients of federal COVID-19 funding were medical practices and hospitals that were successfully prosecuted in the past for antitrust violations, improper billing of government health programs and more. In one case, an oncology clinic suppressed its competition, limiting cancer treatment options for patients.
